Ever since he can remember, SimpleClick web developer, Tyler, has been fascinated by how websites are built.
His interest naturally led him to study Computer Science at university. But it was the countless hours of self-teaching and discovering new development techniques that gave him a solid grounding for starting his career as a web developer.
Since then, he’s been immersed in both front and backend development in addition to creating Powershell scripts; ranging from email report automation to database migration.
I like the fact that I am given the freedom to push the boundaries of what I already know.
Together with others in the team, he also makes sure SimpleClick’s bespoke content management system (CMS), Doddle, offers the best possible user experience. He’s a lateral thinker and loves nothing more than creating new features for user-facing sites.
Outside of work, Tyler can be found at the gym, under the bonnet of a car or walking his dog, Buddy.
He also dreams of travelling to California to camp in Yosemite National Park; home to 1,200sq miles of glaciated granite cliffs, waterfalls, and towering sequoia trees.
