Rich started his career in website development in 1997 as a Webmaster (definitely in the 90s) for a leading photographic wholesaler. Then in 2000, he moved to a web agency where he was promoted from Junior Developer to Project Manager, and finally Director. He stayed there until he founded SimpleClick in 2008.
Since then, he has formed and led a talented team to work for a broad range of businesses to create user-friendly, intuitive websites and apps.
I founded SimpleClick to create an agency where the entire team feels inspired to help clients realise their online potential.
Rich wanted to create an agency that takes clients on a personalised journey where they feel truly involved and engaged throughout the lifespan of a project. The process should be painless and believes software should be an enabler, not something feared.
This philosophy influenced the name, SimpleClick, and later our product (it's a) Doddle.
Rich remains very much at the helm of SimpleClick and says that his proudest achievement is the company culture that attracts and retains brilliant individuals who form our fantastic team. Recognition of this as Employer of the Year Finalist at the East Anglian Daily Times is a testament to the business he has created.
We love to hear from enthusiastic IT professionals looking to take the next step in their careers.
