On track with Lydia Walmsley Racing

SimpleClick is proud to announce that we have partnered with Lydia Walmsley, a local Mini JCW Challenge Championship driver, for the 2024 season.

Lydia, who has been racing since the age of 7, completed her first JCW championship season in 2021 with a team and returned in 2022 with her family-run outfit, a huge achievement at this level of British motorsport.

Lydia has been awarded the British Touring Car Chat ‘Supported Driver of the Year’ award four years running, and is also a two-time ‘JCW Driver of the Year’. These are voted for by the public, proving she is a popular member of the British Touring Car support paddock.

We are excited to be supporting Lydia Walmsley Racing for the upcoming season and beyond! Aside from her clear natural ability behind the wheel, in Lydia, we have seen someone with the drive, tenacity and business acumen that resonates with our values at SimpleClick. We cannot wait for the season to start!

Lydia's new website

Lydia has also experienced SimpleClick’s work first hand, having recently received a brand new website built by the agency.

The project aimed to support Lydia's business objectives: to attract new sponsors, promote existing partners and reinforce the Lydia Walmsley Racing brand.

Project Manager Mark has worked with Lydia to understand her vision to deliver a new WordPress website to support the team's future success.

The website has been built to be SEO-friendly and ensure site management is a breeze!

There are tools out there which enable you to create your own website, but nothing compares to the work that professionals can do. It is a digital work of art, and I cannot wait to show everyone what the team have worked so hard on and put so much time into. Seeing what they can do really does transform a vision into a reality and the final product is still far better than you first imagine, which is part of the magic that SimpleClick provide.

The Mini Challenge championship covers seven race weekends at premium race circuits across the UK including; Two visits to the famous Brands Hatch Circuit which was the home of the British Round of Formula One a monumental fourteen times between 1964 and 1986, a long journey north across the border to Scotland’s Knockhill circuit and a local stop-off at Snetterton for the pair’s ‘home’ round.

You can catch the action on ITV1 and/or ITV4 thanks to the formula forming an integral part of the British Touring Car Championship support programme, thus benefitting from live TV broadcasting at every race weekend.

The Mini Challenge Championship starts at Donnington Park on 27th and 28th April. Watch out for the SimpleClick logo on Walmsley’s ‘new for 2024’ livery.
