The Client.


Vint-tro is a lifestyle brand designed for the vehicle enthusiast, dedicated to classic, retro, performance and super-cars. Their aim is to become the go-to place for niche car insurance schemes, holidays, tours, road trips, car events and vehicle-related products and services.

The Challenge.

Create a central hub for services, events, and products for the vehicle enthusiast that reflects the brand and is easy to update.

The old website did not present the brand and was cumbersome to update. It relied on a number of plugins that did not always work harmoniously with each other or provide the required functionality.

The design did not present the brand with the credibility and professionalism it needed to achieve the long term goal of becoming the go-to place for the car enthusiast.

The purpose of the project was to create a platform that compliments and enhances Vint-tro’s core business. This being a solution to help provide niche and bespoke car insurance.

The Solution.

The solution was to design and build a new site using Doddle to provide a flexible and easy to update platform that reflects the brand.

The site provides the following functionality:

  • Vehicle insurance quote request process and information portal
  • eCommerce shop with member pricing and guest checkout
  • My Garage online vehicle storage with reminder service for MOTs, insurance and servicing
  • Customer login to view favourite products, favourite events, order history, event bookings and payments, member profile, insurance portal
  • Events management and booking system with payment plan options
  • Pre-populated service enquiry forms for logged in members
  • Blog archive and blog feed
  • Mailchimp integration

The platform is built to be scalable and allow additional functionality to be added in the future.

Updating content across the site is quick and simple using Doddle CMS.

The Results.

Provides an automated booking and payment system for events, replacing the previous manual system, ensuring accurate ticket allocation, automatic payment reminders and a customer area to view event details.

An easy-to-navigate website that works well across all devices.

Online shop that allows non-standard products such as car covers, provided by a range of suppliers.

Increases brand awareness.

120% increase in insurance enquiries.

A much higher engagement for others services such as, vehicle storage, finance requests and supplier requests.
