A small but growing web design and development company based in Ipswich is looking to recruit a .net C# Web Developer for the development of websites and associated applications.

Full time role
Salary dependent upon experience

Key duties

Working with the development team to deliver projects on time
Continuously developing your skills to reflect the needs of our clients
Proactive research and suggestions into new technologies, techniques and process improvements.

Skills - essential

Experience in C# .NET programming with more than 2 years’ work experience
Experience in .NET 3.5 and/or 4.0 including WCF/WWF, MVC
Rich web development experience - you will be expected to have hands-on experience of SOAP, XML, XSLT, JSON, Jquery, AJAX
Good experience of SQL programming such SP, UDF and triggers
Good Object Oriented Design skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Advanced and proven complex page build using XHTML and CSS
Proven ability and willingness to learn new languages & technologies
Motivated, strong interpersonal skills, strong communication skills, effective time management and excellent attention to detail.
Solid team worker
Ability to produce meticulous and detailed documentation

Skills - desirable

Experienced and proficient in Java
Mobile phone application development knowledge and experience
Knowledge of Windows Server 2008 and associated web server applications
Understanding of SEO
